TEACH ABOARD MERCY SHIPS IN AFRICA

You could teach the crew children on board one of our surgery ships Africa Mercy or Global Mercy.  The Mercy Ships Academy is an accredited international Christian school that serves preschool, primary and high school children on each Mercy Ship, with small class sizes and big life experiences.  We're looking for all types of volunteer teachers to make it possible for our crew families to serve Africa's poor.

For these roles, you will need:

• to be a practicing Christian

• Bachelor Degree in Education from an accredited college or university

• Two years' classroom teaching experience

• Current teaching certificate

• Successful completion of the Child Safety Screening Process, which includes background / criminal records check

• A working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications is required.  Possess aptitude for learning new computer applications.

• Completion of Mercy Ships one-month On Boarding program will be required at the beginning of your service.
