JUNIOR SECONDARY SCIENCE TEACHER

We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Junior Secondary (Year 10) Science Teacher on our Senior Campus starting 28 January 2025.

Located on the beautiful Hibiscus Coast of Auckland, KingsWay is a high achieving, growing, state integrated Christian school catering for Year 1-13 students, with a current roll of 1823 students.  Our staff are supportive and collaborative, and our work is inspired by love/aroha, heartened by faith/whakapono in Jesus Christ, and motivated by gospel hope/tūmanako. 

Key responsibilities of the role include:

• Effectively engaging with and teaching Science to students in Year 10 as well as being a Home Room Teacher for a Year 10 class

• Contributing to academic process and achievement

• Relating well and being culturally responsive to a diverse range of students and staff

• Have strengths in NZ Science curriculum knowledge

• Be a registered, Senior School trained teacher

• Enjoy effectively partnering with parents

• Enjoy working collaboratively

• Have a desire to grow their professional capacity
