Associate Principal

We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a permanent full-time Associate Principal starting January 2027. 

Located on the beautiful Hibiscus Coast of Auckland, KingsWay is a high achieving, growing, state integrated Christian school catering for Year 1-13 students, with a current roll of over 2000 students. Our staff are supportive and collaborative, and our work is inspired by love/aroha, heartened by faith/whakapono in Jesus Christ, and motivated by gospel hope//tūmanako. 

About the Role 

This is a significant senior leadership opportunity for an experienced, faith-filled educational leader to join our Executive Leadership Team. The Associate Principal provides Christ-centred educational and organisational leadership, contributing to the strategic direction, culture, and ongoing development of the school while ensuring our Christian special character
remains central to all aspects of school life. The role carries 9 units and the teaching allocation is 0.2 FTE with the remaining 0.8 FTE dedicated to leadership responsibilities. 

 Key Responsibilities: 

  • Providing strategic and spiritual leadership that reflects and promotes KingsWay School's Christian mission, vision, and values. 

  • Contributing as a member of the Executive Leadership Team to the leadership and long-term direction of the school. 

  • Leading strategic portfolios, projects, and school-wide initiatives that support excellence and continuous improvement. 

  • Developing and empowering leaders across the organisation while fostering a culture of collaboration and shared leadership. 

  • Promoting excellence in teaching, learning, wellbeing, and student achievement across the school. 

  • Building strong partnerships with students, staff, parents, whānau, churches, and the wider community.
