ASSISTANT HEAD OF SECONDARY - Teaching and Learning

Bethlehem College Secondary comprises of Junior Secondary (Y7-9) and Senior Secondary (Y10-13). The initial scope of this role is the learning and academic progress of senior students from Years 10 to 13. A willingness and ability to take part in religious instruction appropriate to Bethlehem College shall be a condition of appointment.
There is a 0.4FTE teaching component to this role, demonstrating highly effective classroom management and organisation skills.

CARETAKER AND GROUNDSPERSON VACANCIES
Cornerstone Christian School is a State-Integrated Special (Christian) Character Area School in Palmerston North. Our school has a roll of just over 600 (year 1-13 students) and a staff team of 100. It is a supportive, friendly and welcoming place to work, with great coffee. Due to a restructuring of the existing caretaker and groundsperson roles at Cornerstone Christian School, we are seeking applicants for two permanent roles to start in January 2025:

Both positions are for 8hrs per day, Monday – Friday, 45 weeks per year (40 weeks during term time, plus 5 weeks spread out during the school holiday breaks as negotiated/required).

RELIEF SUPPORT
Do you love working with students and enjoy the schooling context? Are you training to be a teacher or have experience working in a school environment with students?
We are looking for on call casual staff to provide relief support across both campuses. You will be responsible for supervising a class of students with the support of a teacher for up to a full school day as well as assisting with lunch time duties. The ideal candidate will be:
Passionate about students and education
Professional and reliable with a high level of confidentiality
Work well in a collaborative team environment
Possess a willingness to learn new skills
Be willing to support our special character.
A teaching qualification is not required for this position.
